Excellent tip! I assume it's this program?

http://aminet.net/package/misc/emu/c1581

Now that I have my Amiga networked with my plipbox, I'll have to try this.

Well I fiqured out my 1581 problem of writing a .d81 back to disk.
I don’t own a PC, so all pc solutions were out.
I was able to hookup a USB floppy to a MacBook Pro, format/read PC
disks,worked within VICE
but was not able to write a image.

Answer was starring me in the face, my AMIGA. Found on aminet, a
c1581-handler and
it worked like a charm! And really fast too (about 30-45 sec).

Its probably old news, but I thought I’d share this.
Now on to writing a .d64 back to disk quest.

Thanks for everyone input on this.

Buying zoomfloopy was my last option to buy one today. So I just might do
that.

Ian. Remember, I am using the latest (beta) version of OS X Yosemite. Like
you did for me with vice. They didn't work.

Recent builds of OpenCBM should come with the imgcopy utility. With a
ZoomFloppy connected to your 1581 you should be able to read/write d81 files
from your Mac with imgcopy. If I remember, I'll bring my ZoomFloppy with me
to the next meeting and build you a recent OpenCBM set for your Mac.
