Hi Frank, I haven't tried this yet myself, but it looks promising. It is USB,
but I can't why you couldn't connect a SD card reader to it, or even a USB HDD.
Cortex Amiga Floppy Emulator
You can buy the floppy emulator for about $40 shipped from China (a la ebay),
then you have to mod it a bit. Doesn't sound too hard.

I just picked up a Amiga 500 with 1 meg of RAM and kick start 2.
Does any one have the best solution to hooking up sd cards or compact
flash?From what I am reading online is that European solutions won't work on
NTSC machines.
If anyone knows where to buy or selling, please let me know also.
