Thanks, Jean! I still have a lot to learn about moth-ing! :)

"E" means east, "W" is west, and "B" is both.  I like having that on MPG,
because I can ignore the W ones.  It isn't part of the Hodges number.

I had an underwing tonight, but it was too hyper to even get a glimpse of it,
much less a photo! There were several Spring moths and the usual flies, beetles
(which were annoying the heck out of me by getting in my hair!!!), and the
weird weevil.

I've been working on IDs and have come across a couple that I'm not sure
about. I'd appreciate help with the attached photos. I think they may be:

  3597 – Argyrotaenia velutinana – Red-banded Leafroller Moth

9037 – Hyperstrotia pervertens – Dotted Graylet Moth

Others I have seen this week include:

  8134 – Spilosoma congrua – Agreeable Tiger Moth 4-20-11

  07855 - Hemaris diffinis Snowberry Clearwing 4-19-11

  0592 – Caloptilia azaleella – Azalea Leafminer Moth 4-20-11

  5159 – Desmia funeralis – Grape Leaffolder Moth 4-19-11

  05226 - Palpita magniferalis Splendid Palpita 4-20-11

  6588 E – Iridopsis larvaria – Bent-line Gray Moth 4-19-11

Why do some of the Hodges numbers have the "E" designation? Is that necessary
for us to add?
