Ken, I noted to Larry last night that it looks like to me that the first photo on the Hummingbird clearwing is wrong, http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/images?l=3437. I did not go down further on the Snowberry page and agree with you, that also looks wrong. When I was identifying my Snowberry, DJ pointed out the buffy body and Jason said that the black legs were diagnostic for Snowberry. I think both pages need to be check by BAMONA. If the ID info on BugGuide is correct, BAMONA has some incorrect pics on their Snowberry page. http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/images?l=3439 Ken Childs Henderson, TN Chester County http://www.finishflagfarms.com --- On Sat, 7/4/09, Larry McDaniel <larrycmcd@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: Larry McDaniel <larrycmcd@xxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [TN-Butterflies] Re: Wrong clearwing in photo > To: "BUTTERFLY NET" <mebc-butterfly@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>, "BUTTERNUTS" > <butternuts@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, "TN-Butterflies" <tn-butterflies@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Saturday, July 4, 2009, 4:53 AM > > > > #yiv1350082927 .hmmessage P > { > margin:0px;padding:0px;} > #yiv1350082927 { > font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;} > > > > Michael and Audrey, > > Thanks for weighing in on this.
