I’ve added a few more pictures to this gallery. They include Meigs County
BAMONA records for Eufala Skipper and Summer Azure, some more flirting Sleepy
Oranges and Broad-winged Skipper.

I’ve just posted pictures from the last two counts we have done in the
Chattanooga area. http://www.pbase.com/dspicer/aug2012
Both the number of species and number of individuals was way up compared to
earlier counts.
Highlights from the seasonal TN River Gorge count included
a.. five new species added to BAMONA for Marion County.
a.. Hayhurst’s Scallopwing
b.. Common Sootywing
c.. Ocola Skipper
d.. Dainty Sulphur
e.. Southern Pearly-eye
b.. Getting pictures of the Southern Pearly-eye with it’s wings open.
For the seasonal Soddy-Daisy count
a.. Dion Skipper was a life butterfly for everyone in the group except me
b.. Getting pictures of a Northern Pearly-eye with it’s wings open.
