That Falcate Orangetip I photographed Monday sat briefly only because it was
just starting its day in mostly overcast and cool conditions at 64 degrees.
Went to Flat Rock Cedar Glade in Murfreesboro today to see if Henry's Elfins
also were out since I'd seen on FB that Redbuds were blooming at somewhat
nearby Long Hunter SP. They were not out and the Redbud buds at Flat Rock were
still pretty tight-fisted. Nectar there is still far from rallying.

Who would have thought, butterflying in late February! But with temperatures
in the mid 70s and mostly sunny it was to nice to sit at home.
Jon and I made a brief trip to Enterprise South Nature Park. We had a number
of Falcate Orange-tips and one Orange Sulphur. No photos, everything was in
almost constant motion. If a bug did sit down it wasn’t long enough to get a
picture.
