During the Elizabethton Bird Club Spring Bird Count, at Charlie Carson Rd. near the Nolichucky River, we saw a Dreamy Duskywing, my first of the year. It was quite small in comparison to Sleepy Duskywings, with the more prominent palps, and in riparian woodland with lots of Black Willow. It has been my experience that I find the first Dreamy Duskywings several weeks later than the first Sleepy Duskyings.
