Scott, Jon and I helped with the fall TN River Gorge count yesterday. We
covered parts of Sequatchie Valley, mostly Ketner's Mill and Prentice
Cooper State Forest.
* No Diana Fritillary and only 2 Great Spangled Fritillary, numbers
for both of those have been low all year.
* A lot more skippers species this time around although numbers for
most are still low.
* Silver-spotted Skipper numbers are still lower than expected.
* I think this is the highest number of Hoary Edge and Common
Sootywing that we have had on a count.
