Haven't had much time to check the yard this week. I had a male and female Blackburnian Warbler in the yard Monday morning; part of a 5-warbler day, tieing for most warblers in a day this fall. Today (17 Sept) I had 3 Bay-breasted bringing the total to 10 yard warblers this fall. The immature Red-headed Woodpecker hung around for at least 3 days being last seen on Monday but I only got to bird around the house for a few minutes yesterday and this morning so hopefully I'll see him again. A dark smudge in the sky last night turned out to be 4 very high-flying ducks in a diamond formation, probably teal. That's the third time I've had ducks pass through and still don't have one nailed to a species for the yardlist.
