Hi folks, Sorry if an abbreviated version of this slipped through. I haven't finished my coffee yet, and the fingers are a bit clumsy... wow, spring is really popping here in the Smokies. On Friday I saw and or heard at least 6 different BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLERS, my first 2 BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLERS, and a YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER at Tremont, inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Blount County. Yesterday while walking the dogs along the greenway in Maryville (Blount County) Tracey and I heard one, possibly two BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS. At home, just south of Maryville, we still have at least 2 PINE SISKINS, maybe more than a dozen PURPLE FINCHES and are happy to still be hosting a LINCOLN'S SPARROW. Good day!
