The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with the Rev. Michael Williams officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 23, 1916 in Carnes, Miss., son of the late Bizar Fillmore Lee and Brenella Johnson Lee. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Lee. He was a retired major who served with the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a Senior Parachutist with numerous awards and decorations to include the Bronze Star and Air Medal. He also was a retired teacher with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Mr. Lee was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church, an avid member of Tennessee Ornithological Society, Austin Peay History Club, Epsilon Pi Tau Honor Society of APSU, Audubon Society, National Amateur Radio Club, Retired Officers' Club, Friends of Dunbar Cave and the Republican Party. Survivors include his wife, Eula O. Lee; a son, Michael T. Lee (Violet), Clarksville; daughters, Kathryn "Kathy" O. Lee, Nashville, and Jeannie Gray (Calvin), Clarksville, and Patty Richardson (John), Knoxville; seven grandchildren, Dana Barnes, Tonya Gray, Calvin E. Gray III, Michael Lee, Amelia Hendrickson, Clay Richardson, and Kathryn Richardson; and six great-grandchildren, Colton and Dalton Eatherly, Calvin E. Gray IV, Logan and Ashlynn O'Hare, and Alyssa Barnes. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Calvin Gray III, Michael Lee, and John Clayton Richardson, and grandsons-in-law, Nick Hendrickson, Dennis O'Hare and Stacy Barnes.
