[TN-Bird] scissor-tailed flycatcher nesting data

Bruce Anderson, co-author with the late Henry M.
Stevenson of THE BIRDLIFE OF FLORIDA, is in the
process of writing a monograph on the Scissor-
tailed Flycatcher.  He has asked me to compile
all records of this species in Tennessee and to
compile a list of all Tennesssee nesting records,
including descriptions of nesting habitat, nest
substrate, and nest success.

I have compiled all the records that I could
find in The Migrant, in Robinson's Annotated
Checklist (1990), and in Nicholson's Atlas
(1997), but if you know of records that have
not appeared in those sources, please advise
me.

I have complete nesting data for the following
nesting records (except for the success of
one of them, as noted):

W of Wynnburg, Lake Co., May-Jul 2002
Smyrna Airport, Rutherford Co., Jun-Jul 2000
Franklin, Williamson Co., Jun 2000
Phillipy, Lake Co., Jun-Jul 2000 (but success not known)
Franklin, Williamson Co., Jun-Jul 1999
Pickwick Dam, Hardin Co., May-Jun 1990
Franklin Co., May-mid-Jun 1989

I have no nesting data for the following

Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., July 1978

If you can supply data relating to nesting
habitat, nest substrate, and nest success
for any of these records, please e-mail to
me as soon as possible.  I know Bruce will
be most grateful, and, of course, so will I.

If you know of any nesting record besides
those listed, please advise.
