Evidently no one pays any attention to Meredith's very accurate and well
described answer to the "mystery plant"

hearts a'bustin' , also sometimes calle strawberry bush, has been mentioned
several times in the last few days...scientific name is Euonymus americana
if you like, go to google and pick "image" and type in scientific name, and
you will find photos...

It is excellent deer browse as well as bird food...
