I like the dog idea, assuming the dog will get a responsible, loving
situation, but please get one from the shelter. I cringe when people go buy
an expensive pureblooded dog when there are so many wonderful deserving
mutts who could help you out, as you help them "out" of their dilemma. I
also had my dogs trained to chase squirrels from the feeders at my former
home, but here, I never see a squirrel. The dogs are forgetting what the
word squirrel means...

Some friends and I have dogs for adoption here in west Tennessee, spayed,
neutered, current on shots and heartworm preventive, so get in touch if you
are interested!
