Hi folks,

Been seeing fledglings a bit lately:

In our Blount County yard:
- the Carolina Chickadees fledged a week ago, around May 22
- Blue Jays were feeding their fledglings (which, from 20 feet away
look identical to mom and dad) today, May 28
- European Starling chicks have been around
- American Robins were feeding chicks yesterday

Banding at Tremont (also Blount County):
- we banded a Louisiana Waterthrush chick on Monday, May 23

Banding at Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge in Knox County:
- we banded fledgling House Finches and Carolina Wrens

Charlie
