Hi folks,

Upon a bit of invesitgation, I've learned that the mudflat/creek
where several of us have seen Sandhill Cranes, Great Egret, Wilson't
Snipe, etc this year, is called Lackey Creek.

It is in northwest Blount County, about 100 meters down Miser Station
Road from Louisville Road.

Lackey Creek drains into Louisville Lake, which is really just an
embayment of Fort Loudon Reservoir on the Tennessee River.
Louisville Lake is across the river from Keller Bend Park, so it is
possible these birds may be visible with a scope from Knox County.

Charlie
