[TN-Bird] Re: color banded rock pigeon

Tracey,
This could be a lost homing/racing pigeon.  If the bird was registered with one 
of the major pigeon organizations (such as the American Racing Pigeon Union, 
see http://www.pigeon.org/lostbirdinfo.htm) at least one of the bands should 
have a code number on it.  Some racing pigeon owners also band their birds with 
a band containing their name and phone number or address.
