Nothing out-of-the-ordinary yet but a quick note on a few recent sightings
and first-of-year (FOY) birds in Knox Co, mainly at home.

Great Egret - 1 flyover at home on 31 March, only second record for the yard

Osprey - 1 on 31 March making the annual inspection of the local cell tower
before realizing it's a LOOONG way to the fishing hole

Barn Swallow - FOY on 25 March

Yellow-throated Vireo - FOY on 2 April singing in the woods, new early
date for the yardlist by 4 days

Savannah Sparrow - 1 in the powerline cut at the back of our neighborhood,
#171 for the neighborhood list (with 168 of those from the yard)
