There have been summer sightings in TN but no documented breeding unless I'm
mistaken. I believe there has been documented breeding in NC. Of course the
Clingmans Dome area is almost entirely in NC so presume your birds would be as
well. Very much worth documenting if a nest can be confirmed.

Does anyone know of other known nesting of this species in the Southern
Appalachians? Ebird shows the species to occur year round, but this report
was flagged, as was a similar report last year.
