Another good flycatcher find this morning as I observed a Yellow-bellied
Flycatcher briefly perched out in the open in a powerline cut off the Natchez
Trace in north Franklin. It harassed a Carolina Chickadee before flying back
towards the woods line. The road that accesses this area is about 1.5 miles
north of the Hwy 96 bridge. Interestingly, the only other report of this
species in Williamson County is an historic record from 1966.
