I noted six different warbler species in Birchwood in the past several days. I
only saw one bird of each species except as noted below. All six species were
observed on my property in Hamilton County.
* Kentucky Warbler – August 17
* Canada Warbler – August 24
* Hooded Warbler – August 26
* Chestnut-sided Warbler – August 27 (2 seen, an immature bird and an adult
female)
* Northern Parula – August 29 (a new species for me on my property)
* Ovenbird – September 1
