This cold front is still adding birds to the mix at the Pits, Big Time! Up
close and personal looks today at the following: 7 Golden-Plover, Killdeer, 11
Black-necked Stilts, 18 Greater Yellowlegs, 165 Lesser Yellowlegs, 78
Solitary Sandpipers, 5 UPLAND SANDPIPERS, 390 Least Sandpipers, 782 Pectoral
Sandpipers, and 9 Wilson's Snipe. Struck out on Dunlin and Dowitchers.

Overall a real nice collection of Wind Birds to sort through.

Along the levee in MS where the Harlan's was hanging out the last couple of
weeks we had a super white immature Krider's, from one extreme to the other
and Gail found an Osprey sitting off the road along the barrow pits on the way
out of the pits on Riverport Road. I got a photo this afternoon in the fading
 light.

Good Birding !!!

What is this feathered thing that lifts my heart to the heavens.
