Wed 10-6-04 A midday walk at Cove Lake State Park in Campbell County, TN turned up 2 WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS, my first fall/ winter. YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS were numerous on the back trail. Many Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks were still moving through as well as Scarlet Tanagers, a few Tennessee Warblers and MagnoliaWarblers were seen. I saw NO Thrushes today. A RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH was present, my third in the past week in the Jacksboro, Caryville TN area.
