One Juvenile White Ibis at Brainerd Levee June 27, 7:30 AM and still there at 9:30 AM, Feeding along ditch with 12 Great Blue Herons and 6 Green Herons or resting in dead tree, near mile 0.8 from Shallowford Road end. Head and neck tan/light brown, back and wings dark brown, rump and belly white, one indistinct tail band when flying, beak and face pink to flesh colored. The shallow water is gone, the mud cracked and dry or barely damp, the water and fish concentrated in the ditch,- apparently great fishing for herons; the Great Blues were pulling them out as fast as they could swallow.
