Sorry for the late posting, but I had a pretty good day starting in Hamblen
Co. at Frank Lorino Park, and heading to Greene Co. to the WMA at Rt. 348
andLick creek. The total species count for the day was 61.

Highlights: At FLP, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (4), and
White-eyed vireo.

At WMA, Blue-winged Teal (2), Wood duck (pair), Osprey, Cooper's Hawk,
C.Yellowthroat, Wild Turkey (hen), and MARSH WREN. (got a good look at rusty
color, white markings on back, eye stripe, and gave the "blackbird" type
callnote. Also this bird was in the cattails, about 20 ft. from where I had
seen the Sedge Wren a couple of weeks ago.)

Horned Lark is still present on Rt.340, mile marker 10 (exit 15 off I-81,
south about 2 miles), and I had a flock of 17 cedar waxwings cruise by by
backyard in Hamblen Co.

Keep on birding!
