TN-birders, Dollyann and I just saw an Upland Sandpiper at the Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery. The hatchery is on the east end of Clinton in Anderson Co., right on the Clinch River. When you drive in, you will be on the main road bisecting the hatchery. Go straight back until you go under some major power lines. The bird was in the first pond bed on the right. This pond bed is essentially dry, but there is a small wet area in the middle. If it rains today, it may accumulate some more water. There were also 11 active Great Blue Heron nests. Great birding, Ron Hoff and Dollyann Myers Clinton, TN. rondolly@xxxxxxxxx =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
