Cool conversation … My 2 cents … I usually see worm eating warblers on the a
slope, hillside or some elevation changing area and always in the “deep dark
woods” usually around water … not sure why. I don’t think I ever heard both
together … but Chips seem to me a bit more musical and Worms a bit more
"mechanical”. I do think location is the best way to tell if you can’t
actually see them.
Pine Warbler also sounds really close to those two … :). If the woods there are
more open but have some pine trees … ?

Worm-eating will almost always only be found (singing anyway) in fairly
mature forest. Chipping Sparrows are generally not found in that habitat.
