After reading Dee Thompson's message about seeing two Summer Tanagers while
sitting in her Dentist's chair, I realized that she and I use the same dentist!
Today I had an appointment with that dentist and when I mentioned Dee
Thompson's experience they led me back to the same chair with a twinkle in
their eye. Although there were no Summer Tanagers present I saw a Great Blue
Heron flying over the building and heard a Rufous-sided Towhee, Song Sparrow,
and American Goldfinches, singing in the parking lot of the office. I
mentioned our experiences to the dentist and she said she would have to start
setting up feeders and other things to help the birds. I have another
appointment with her in a month and will try to see what I can then.
