Few notable yard birds this week from Knox Co ...

Red-breasted Nuthatch, 11/7
Blue-headed Vireo, 11/8
Tennessee Warbler, 11/8, first fall immature, new late date for the yard by
about 2 weeks

The vireo and Warbler were hanging out with a couple of Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
The Warbler and kinglets came down to forage in a couple patches of goldenrod,
fleabane, and asters that I let grow up while the vireo stayed close by but low
in the trees. Got good photos of all three species.
