I agree with this photo being good enough to eliminate Worm-eating
Warbler and Swainson’s Warbler and confirming Ovenbird. Thanks for sharing!

Friends,
After a polite email from David, I had to revisit my response on this bird
(not that my response is that important anyway :")
When I first looked at the bird, I immediately saw the crown pattern of
Ovenbird, but after looking again I can just as easily see a Worm-eating
Warbler. Amazing to me that two birds that don't really look much alike can
look so similar in one photo at a funny angle like this. My apologies for
seemingly brushing off anyone who didn't immediately see Ovenbird as well!
Good birding!!

TNBirders,
Different birders obviously have
different opinions, especially with a funny angle and not
great resolution (no knock against photographer of course),
but I also can't see this as anything other than an Ovenbird
with that crown pattern and overall look.
Good birding!

Today I visited Centennial
Park in Nashville Tennessee. Great
birds there.
Found this bird working meticulously
on the ground, going
through leaves. I believe it is a
Swainson's
Warbler. I'm about to enter my
checklist for
eBird. Going through audio
recordings again but
don't think I got sound - calls or
song. It was an
olive- brown bird, white underneath,
with a dark eye line
and brown crown. I believe it had pink
legs. Could not
get a good photo but here's the best
one I could get
below. Just so excited to be there
with all the
great warblers and birds today.
