Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.
This morning I saw a juvenile/female Surf Scoter in the middle of Radnor
Lake. It is best seen from the road with the sun behind you. After running
into Ranger Leslie Anne Rawlings, she said she had seen it late yesterday for
the first time. Other newcomers to the lake were 1 Northern Pintail, 1 female
American Wigeon and 1 Horned Grebe. I also had my FOS Golden-crowned
Kinglets and a late Black-throated Green Warbler.
