Tn Birders
.
The continuing snow in East TN threatens to reclaim my cleared feed patch on
the deck. The Chickadees and Titmice showed up and absconded with an
inordinate share of the booty for such small fellers.
.
Here is the list in order of appearance:
.
1 - American Crow
2 - European Starling
3 - American Robin
4 - Downy Woodpecker
5 - Northern Cardinal
6 - Dark-eyed Junco
7 - Song Sparrow
8 - White-throated Sparrow
9 - Blue Jay
10 - Eastern Towhee
11 - Mourning Dove
12 - Northern Mockingbird
13 - Carolina Wren
14 - Carolina Chickadee
15 - Tufted Titmouse
16 - Red-bellied Woodpecker
17 - Northern Flicker
18 - Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
.
It is 12:30ish and the melted Nacho sauce was delicious on the Mission brand
tortilla chips. In a moment or two I am going to fire up the Cyclone 3000 and
vacuum a couple of laps making much noise so as to be noticed completing a
chore. Snow is steady.
.
Waiting on Goldfinches, and House Finches.
.
'Til we bird again
