Terry, It is really kind of you to be there for birders to show them the little ground dove. I certainly admire your taking the time to do so. Since I'm not a state lister, I won't be down to search for the little sweetie, as I grew up with them "running circles" around my yard and just saw quite a few on my trip to Florida. It is birders like you, who take the extra time to help birders see a "good" bird, that continues to bring in and/or keep the interest of people in enjoying the hobby/sport/study of birds and birdwatching.
