Got a chance to once again bird Ensley Bottoms Area while I was in town for a
short time on Tuesday.
Dog Days of summer have come early this year. Hot, Dusty, Flies, Grass Hoppers
and heavy machinery everywhere.
Not alot of birds this day but the few made it interesting. Pictures are on
the bird posts listed below.

Lots of heavy equipment activity as they are beginning to move alot around
alot of the old ash waste offsite and restore the sites to original form.

Black bellied Whistling ducks.
Responded to playback. Have pictures. This might be the same Fulvous seen the
past couple years visiting the Pits.
