38 species in two hours of birding the bottoms by car. Kinda dreary lunch time 
run. Best birds were the number of Blk-bellied Whistling Ducks still around 
this time of year. hopefully it will be another banner year for them on the 
nesting sites here at the south treatment plant.  Riverport Rd Sloughes are now 
top full of water quite a contrast from being bone dry at the end of summer 
into the most of fall.

grass with Geese, got up and flew in to the central ponds/levee as i crept 
closer with the van.
