It was a great morning to be birding in Shelby Park in Nashville this morning, the trees on Mission and Windmill Hills were alive with migrants! 76 total species were seen, with the following 20 species of Warblers making me one happy birder: Blue-winged - 5 Tennessee - 4 Nashville - 4 Northern Parula - 1 Yellow-rumped - 10+ Black-throated Green - 3 Blackburnian - 1 Yellow-throated - 2 Pine - 1 Palm - 6 Bay-breasted - 1 Blackpoll - 2 Cerulean - 2 Black-and-white - 1 Ovenbird - 1 Northern Waterthrush Kentucky Warbler - 2 Common Yellowthroat - 4 Hooded Warbler - 6 Yellow-breasted Chat - 2 Other species seen: Snowy Egret - 26, flying over Mission Hill!
