Visited Seven Islands State Birding Park (Knox Co.) this morning,
10/20/16. Highlights included a first-of-season NORTHERN HARRIER
hovering over the hillside below Schumpert Pond, a LINCOLN'S SPARROW
along the river on Seven Islands Loop Trail (south of Wayne's Pond
area), and a rare for fall BLACKPOLL WARBLER also along the river on
Seclusion Bend Trail. The Blackpoll was mostly dull yellow with dark
wings, white wing-bars, faint dark eye-line, faint blurry streaking on
breast, clean white undertail coverts, and pinkish-orange legs.
