Here is a link to a checklist with poor quality but diagnostic photos of
2 Surf Scoters, seen at Pace Point around 9 a.m.
The birds were swimming fast, and soon disappeared. (Probably flew).
A Redhead was also present, as well as 2 Laughing Gulls and a flyover
Long-billed Dowitcher.
A second Long-billed Dowitcher was seen at Lick Creek mudflats, plus 18
Least Sandpipers, 2 Greater Yellowlegs and a Merlin.
An adult Laughing Gull was seen at Granny's Branch.
