Cheatham dam picnic area

I took my bike to Cheatham dam and rode it to the final boat ramp and back. On the way, there was no sign of the Scissor-tailed flycatcher, and on the way back I still didn't see it on the three poles across from the first boat ramp (in the picnic area), but just past those I heard an unfamiliar bird in a maple, so pulled the bike over and looked around the backside. It was sitting in the tree, then flew to the pole with the transformer. It landed once between the transformer and pole, but I saw no sign of a nest after it left. I then rode the greenway listening and looking for migrants, and upon returning at 3, the flycatcher was still there. It flew to the field twice and landed, once returning with what seemed to be a huge carpenter bee, which it swallowed whole. Earlier it had caught a dragonfly at the edge of the field. I took a few photos, included in flight. There was no sign of a female.
