During the Nashville Spring Count yesterday Joe Stone and Jerry Drewry saw
a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher at Cheatham Dam in Cheatham Co. Here's Joe's
report:
Of note the Scissor-tail was, to the best of our knowledge, the first
Cheatham County record.
The bird was at the dam. Driving towards the dam there are lights across
from the first boat ramp, the bird was on the wires. Watched for about 20
minutes. The bird is an adult male in breeding plumage.
