Seven people attended this Saturday's walk at J. Travis Price Park in Springfield sponsored by the parks and recreation department. They were Nita Laughlin, Ramona See, Melanie Strong, Mary Rose Stinson, Judy and Clifford Gregory, and myself. We saw or heard 62 species, highlights being our first-of-the-season (for the park) Pewee, Great- crested Flycatcher, Warbling Vireo, Yellow Warbler, Blackpoll, Chat, Indigo Bunting, Orchard Oriole and Summer Tanager.
