[TN-Bird] Rufous Hummingbird Day 36

Willie came for his first quick sip of sugar water at 6:44 a.m. today.
We have light rain and temperatures in the 50's this morning. If this
little fellow has any deductive reasoning at all, he must be even more
lost than he was when he flew east instead of south late in November.
Last week at this time the temperature was down in the single digits and
logic would have caused him to believe he was really far north. Now if
he has a thinking process that allows reasoning he must think he is much
further south. Maybe we should hang a map beside the feeder with a "you
are here" marked on it for him.

If you did not get to see him yet for your 2004 list, you are welcome to
come today. And if you want to begin the list for 2005 with the most
easily seen beautiful male Rufous Hummingbird east of the Mississippi
River, you can come tomorrow.
