That beautiful mature male Ruby-throated Hummer is enjoying the sugar
water in the feeder he made us move into the spot it was hanging last
year. He's exploring the yard and repeatedly coming back to take 15-20
drinks at the feeder - he must have flown a long way yesterday. Our
"empty feeder syndrome" caused by Willie leaving three weeks ago is
ended. With the gorgeous sunrise this morning and an equally gorgeous
hummingbird at the feeder, it is a great day.
