Yesterday I had my FOS Rough-winged Swallow at Sulphur Fork Creek while walking the Springfield Greenway. Savannah Sparrow numbers have dropped considerably in the surrounding fields, falling from a high of near 80 during the snowy weeks to 13 yesterday. I had one American Pipit as well. Eastern Meadowlarks were out in good numbers and Field Sparrows were singing. Ring-billed Gull numbers have dropped from 30+ to 4 around the pond at J. Travis Price Park.
