Greetings, My wife Nancy and I stayed one night in Jackson, TN on the way back to PA from the Southwest. At 8 AM we entered the boardwalk at Cedar Grove Nature Park. It was not long before we encountered tall well made wooden cages containing Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Great Horned Owl and 2 phases of Red-tailed Hawks. This was quite a surprise. The raptors appeared healthy and stared at us calmly. We were wondering if these were rehab birds or if not how did they get there? We never saw a soul while birding the boardwalk. The raptors and their cages certainly piqued our interest, and if someone would e-mail us the story we would appreciate it. Thank you and good birding, Tom Hopson Lancaster County Bird Club Quittapahilla Chapter of NAS 2 Mt.
