Hi all,

While enjoying some sunshine and warm temps in between
all the rain, I noticed an orange butterfly. Since my
field guide for butterflies was at work and all other
books packed I followed and waited patiently to see
the marks on the undersides of the wings. It
was a question mark, appears to have been an
overwintering adult; the wings did not have that
"brand new" look and there were pieces missing from
the wings.
Also, first pair of cowbirds made an appearance at the
feeder yesterday.
