The Hickory - Priest CBC was held Friday Jan. 1, 2016. Some highlights of
the Priest Lake section, in Davidson Co., include:
Common Goldeneye - 6
Red-breasted Merganser - 2
Common Loon - 204
Horned grebe - 155 (about average numbers of these 2)
Red-throated Loon - 1, seen pretty well by the group out from Seven Points
Bald Eagle - 4, 2 adults and 2 juv mostly distant views
Merlin - 1, Seen late in the day at Anderson Rd Rec area
