Today, Sunday, Feb. 12, between 11:30 and noon, we saw Pine Siskins at two feeder locations in Townsend, Blount County. There were six siskins at house number 210 of a short side street with no street sign. Driving from Maryville, the street is the last left before Hwy 321 turns to go to Wears Valley. We saw six at feeders at a small RV park on Cedar Creek Road, mixed with several American Goldfinches. There were a large number of House Finches but we could not find any Purple Finches. After turning left to go to Wears Valley, take the first left after crossing the creek bridge.
