5/17/2010 Reelfoot Lake area (Lake & Obion Co) I spent part of the day Monday at Reelfoot again, once again with very little to show for it. Walnut Log was only good for 14 species of warblers, with Magnolia being the most numerous migrant. Highlights were Blackburnian Warbler (another seen later in Lake Co), Least Flycatcher, and Philadelphia Vireo. Along the levee I did have a nice flock of 100+ Bobolinks, 90% females. Shorebirds were again extremely hard to find, with only 3 Black-necked Stilt, single Spotted, Solitary and Lesser Yellowlegs, and a handful of Least and Semi Sands. I have uploaded some new photos to my spring 2010 gallery, starting here if interested: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/image/124649575/original Good birding!!
