Sept.15 Old Hickory Lake Davidson County After soaking up some warblers at Radnor Lake, Nashville, this morning with Frank Fekel, I took off for Old Hickory Lake in hopes of a Sabine's Gull since they seem so plentiful these days. No such luck today, but I did have 1 Herring Gull and 1 Bonaparte's Gull, both early for here. There were also 2 Caspian Terns. There are good mudflats at Drake's Creek on the north side of Gallatin Rd., but I only had 22 Killdeer there.
